From the article: Sunnyside Eats on a Budget
Sunnyside is an under-appreciated neighborhood for restaurants in western Queens. There are holes-in-the-wall ethnic eats, satisfying pub grub, and a few higher-end stars. Too many places for one eater to try! Please share your picks. Your Restaurant Picks

Few Yummy Suggestions for Sunnyside
- How exciting! My husband and I get to share our favorite spots to eat in Sunnyside! 1. La Pollera Colorada 41-20 Greenpoint Ave. This Colombian home-style gem is great! Their arroz con pollo is addicting! My family orders it everytime they come to visit and I never order it from another place - it never stacks up! We have catered parties from here. Their pork chops are incredible - actually, everything is delicious...I am almost afraid to post about them b/c I don't want too many people to find them :) 2.The Turkish Grill 42-20 Queens Blvd Though this place has gone through a snazzy remodel, their dishes are still the same - thank goodness! Their lamb or chicken sautee, or kabob plates will leave you wanting more! 3.NY Style Easts 45-02 Queens Blvd Great place to stop in to grab....anything! From a milkshake, to a creative wrap, to good old sweet potato fries - this diner with a touch of something snazzy, even 50's style with the open counter look - is a great neighborhood spot. Enjoy

Mama's Empanadas
- Very tasty and very cheap, the empanadas are the best. This is where I bring visiting friends for a quick bite.
