This Thursday, September 11, 2008, marks the seventh anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. In memorial events and in our hearts Queens will remember the family, friends, and neighbors we lost on 9/11.

  • 9/11 Memorial in Glendale - Though I haven't heard of any events at the 9/11 memorial in Glendale -- it's dedicated to the 42 victims from Glendale, Ridgewood, Middle Village and Woodhaven -- I know it will be a good place to visit and reflect on 9/11. In Breezy Point, usually an outdoor mass on the evening of 9/11 is held at the 9/11 Memorial, Tribute Park (Rockaway Point Blvd and Beach 218th St), but I haven't been able to confirm for 2008.
