Flushing Meadows Corona Park hosts some of the biggest events and festivals in Queens. Of course, the Mets play in the Park at Shea Stadium, and every August and September millions tune in to the US Tennis Open held in Flushing Meadows at the USTA.

But there are lots more events held in the Park, many huge gatherings that celebrate immigrant holidays from the old country. Almost every weekend the Queens Museum of Art has events and there are performances year round at the Queens Theatre in the Park.
