Meg Cotner

From Meg Cotner, for About.com

Meg Cotner fell in love with Astoria soon after her move in August 2005 and is happy to call it home. She is a freelance classical harpsichordist, and performs and teaches regularly throughout the NYC metro area. You'll often see her running in Astoria Park to counteract the effects of her notorious never-ending sweet tooth, dawdling in the aisles at Trade Fair, and participating in various activities to enhance the Astoria community.
As a freelance writer, Meg is a contributing writer to Joey in Astoria, an Astorian-based weblog, the editor and writer for OuterB, a blog about Queens real estate, as well as for Queens.About.com. She writes the weekly Astorian Weekend Edition of neighborhood events every Friday. To learn more about Meg, or to hire her as a writer or musician, see her website at MegCotner.com.
