Astoria Village
The area known as Astoria Village, south of Astoria Boulevard, around 21st Street and Newtown Road, is the historic part of Astoria. Its Victorian-style homes and old mansions and farmhouses have mostly slipped away, under the wrecking ball, replaced mostly by bland, multi-family houses.
