Guide Review - Jackson Hole Diner

Jackson Hole Diner has outposts in Bayside and Jackson Heights, Queens, as well as Manhattan. The Bayside branch is very popular on the weekends. The staff moves quick, but with so many tables, it can get loud and waits a little long. The food, however, is always top notch for diner grub.

The Jackson Hole in Jackson Heights is very close to Astoria and a few minutes from LaGuardia Airport. It's not in Jackson Height proper, but the nub of a neighborhood sometimes called Astoria Heights or Upper Ditmars.

The breakfast specials hit the spot and are a good value. The potatoes, french toast, and omelettes must receive special mention. Wash it all down with a chocolate shake. It's served with a metal cup holding enough excess for a refill.
