The Museum of Sound Recording
Got 8-tracks you'd love to play again? Or a dusty reel-to-reel of a conversation with your grandmother? There's help in Richmond Hill at the Museum of Sound Recording. This small museum is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of recorded music and sound. It has a collection of sound equipment, both modern and antique, which the staff uses to transfer old recordings on obsolete media to modern formats (such as from reel-to-reel to CD).
