Looks like Astoria Park.
While I have no further idea of where that park is, that scene with the broken tree must have been repeated thousands of times after Sandy and the subsequent Nor’Easter. Historic Storm.
Francis Lewis park under the Whitestone Bridge
in Whitestone NY
I also think that’s Astoria Park looking toward the pool on the right and the Triboro (excuse me, the RFK Bridge) in the background. Right or wrong, Happy Thanksgiving all!
I think it’s in Flushing Meadow Park.
It’s Astoria Park, off the northwest end of the parking lot heading down toward Shore Blvd. The skate park and the ‘bridge formerly known as Triboro’ are in the background.
Debbie, Helen, and ATF got it right. This is scene from Astoria Park, one repeated throughout the area this fall.
Thanks for playing and thanks to the photographer!
