We all need a little distraction from Sandy and the snow. This weekendy you can check out the very first Astoria Arts Festival put on by the In Bloom Collective. There will be parties, food, and the artwork of more than 30 local artists. The 3-day festival will be held at venues across western Queens, including Hell Gate Social (Friday night party), Sparrow, SITE, Crescent Lounge, and more. Most of the art is free to see, and there are happy hour and other drink specials at the venues. Get out there and enjoy the scene!
