I agree with Richard N. ..the rockaways. The Bowery Boys just did a nice podcast on the Rockaways if anyone is interested. You can look them up

I’m sure it’s somewhere in Rockaway, but WHERE in Rockaway is the big question…I’ll venture a guess that it’s somewhere in the vicinity of 98th Street.
Yes, Rockaways, the beach between 108 & 109th sts {where Fitzgerald’s used to be……ah Fitzgerald’s you are missed}.
