I think Vidiot is right. The base looks like the stone of the Queensboro bridge and the Citicorp Tower is in the right relative position. It seems to be near the lot owned by Silvercup Studios.
I think this is under the 59th Street Bridge but somehow from the Manhattan side, especiallly because the Citicorp building seems so far away. A very strange view….
I think the confusion arises from the foreground being a lot that most people don’t see. It’s usually fenced off. The details of the bridge are also hiding in underexposure.
And Myra might be confusing the Citigroup Center in Manhattan (which is the tallest building in the photo), with the Citicorp Building in Long Island City.
Go to Google Maps. Type in 4210 Vernon Blvd Long Island City NY. Then use the streetview function to see an interactive photo of the area.
Anyway, this was a good one. All the previous ones have been far too easy.

Under the Q’boro Bridge, I think..but I’ve never seen that view before.
Under the Roosevelt Island Bridge? It has to be north of Citiband bldg.

I love that there is some debate/confusion with this one!

Under the Q’boro Bridge is right and Joe added some great detail/research.
The fence was open for some reason this day and I only stepped beyond it by about 10 feet to take the picture.
