Remembering 9/11 in Queens

This summer I was lucky enough to get out on New York Harbor in a boat with friends, and enjoy the sights of our great city. The boat paused in front of Lady Liberty for a good ten minutes, a spectacular sight.

But heading back to the city, we just kept staring at that blank space over lower Manhattan. New York will never be the same to us. This week is the time to remember, the seventh anniversary of the attacks of September 11.
