- Ed Levine's Updated Guide to the Best Hot Dogs in NYC [Serious Eats]
Will wonders never cease. True news to me is Dominick's Hot Dog Truck (Woodhaven Blvd, near 67th Ave, Rego Park) across from St. John's Cemetery where Middle Village, Forest Hills, and Rego Park meet. A hot dog truck worth the trek.

Praise for the Mitteleuropan full lunch at Zlata Praha (28-48 31st St, Astoria, 718-721-6422), a Czech restaurant in Astoria.
- Off the Beaten Path: Filipino Sausage from Renee's Kitchenette [Serious Eats]
Another eater makes it to Queens. This time he finds the sweet Filipino-style sausage at Renee's Kitchenette (69-14 Roosevelt Ave, Woodside, 718-476-9002), which apparently trump the restaurant's chicken bbq.
