Memorial Day Weekend
- Memorial Day Parades - Queens hosts possibly the biggest Memorial Day Parade in the country. It goes from Douglaston/Little Neck over to Nassau County's Great Neck. The whole community turns out along Northern Boulevard. In other neighborhoods, there are plenty more Memorial Day parades.

- Crossing the BLVD at Queens College - Through June 28. Originally shown at QMA a few years ago, it's an engrossing exhibit on contemporary immigrants here in Queens. Highly recommended.
