Memorial Day Weekend Events in Queens — May 23-25, 2008

Thursday May 22, 2008
Memorial Day Parade

Memorial Day Weekend

  • Memorial Day Parades - Queens hosts possibly the biggest Memorial Day Parade in the country. It goes from Douglaston/Little Neck over to Nassau County's Great Neck. The whole community turns out along Northern Boulevard. In other neighborhoods, there are plenty more Memorial Day parades.

Friday

Saturday

Sunday

  • Flushing Festival - Sanford Avenue from Main Street to Kissena Boulevard

Monday

Continuing Events

  • Crossing the BLVD at Queens College - Through June 28. Originally shown at QMA a few years ago, it's an engrossing exhibit on contemporary immigrants here in Queens. Highly recommended.
