Get off Broadway, way off Broadway, when you visit Elmhurst, Queens. The outer borough's Broadway runs between Roosevelt Avenue and Queens Boulevard, the heart of Elmhurst. The neighborhood has a lot of surprising sights -- not just a gag like the Off Broadway Car Wash -- with a pretty unique mix of colonial history, contemporary melting pot, and major shopping destination.
