This Labor Day weekend it's Irie Jamboree 2007, one of the biggest reggae and dancehall fests in the New York, featuring Stephen "Raggamuffin" Marley (one of Bob's kids), plus Beenie Man, Luciano, and many more.
It's an all-day affair in Roy Wilkins Park in Jamaica / St. Albans. Attendance could easily meet or beat the 20,000+ who partied at Irie Jamboree last year.

This is a free country, we all have the right to freedom of speech! If the Klan can have rallys and demonstrations on MLK day, then I can listen to Beenieman Da*mi@! I believe in gay rights, and yes some are the lyrics are horrible, but I enjoy a lot of their other tracks…
