Latino Cultural Festival in Flushing Meadows Park

Opening July 25 and going strong until August 5 is the 11th annual Latino Cultural Festival at the Queens Theatre in the Park. Musicians, dancers, actors, and other artists bring the best Latin flavor to our borough from the Caribbean, South America, Mexico, Spain, and the United States. A highlight is Colombian folk-singer Petrona Martinez; she's everything that Shakira isn't.
