High point of Myra Alperson's recent NoshWalk in Jamaica was a veggie sampler plate at Guyanese and West Indian Sybil's (159-24 Hillside Ave, Jamaica - Sybil's is also in Richmond Hill and Flatbush). If you've never tried Indo-Guyanese cooking, think Caribbean veggies and foodstuffs meet Indian spices. Fantastic pumpkin curry!

Queens takes the top 5 of NYC's finest street food. Sammy's Halal (#3 ) is responsible for that wonderful aroma at 73rd St and Broadway in the thick of Jackson Heights busy-busy. Or, is it Khan's (#4) at the same intersection? Either way you can't go wrong for a great, cheap lunch.
