Weekend Events in Queens — April 27-29
Friday April 27, 2007
Top Picks of the Weekend
- Walking Tour World’s Fair Architecture at Flushing Meadows - Free tour, no RSVP needed - a must for all NYC history buffs. Tour led John Kriskiewicz, architectural historian. Learn structures from the 1939 and 1965 World's Fairs, including the Unisphere, NY Hall of Science, NY State Pavillion, and Terrace on the Park at Flushing Meadows Park.
- Sleeping Beauty With Original Music - Sometimes you just have to say yes to community theater. The Gingerbread Players of Forest Hills have a long-standing reputation and they definitely got ambition with the new score for Sleeping Beauty by ragtime-composer Bill Ryden.
- Auditions for the New Menudo - Enough said.
