AMNY names three Queens bistros: our fave Tournesol (50-12 Vernon Boulevard, LIC, 718-472-4355); Dirty Pierre (13 Station Square, Forest Hills, 718-830-9698), which can feel more bar than bistro; and surprise Bistro Olivia (107-23 Metropolitan Ave, Forest Hills, 718-263-3336), which sounds worth checking out in Forest Hills. - Donuts or Bust - Nita's European Bakery [Queens Rocks]
No donuts today at Nita's European Bakery (40-10 Greenpoint Ave, Sunnyside), but the day gets saved by the cinnamon rolls.

Balanced review of pan-Latino eats at La Vuelta (10-43 44th Dr, LIC), which always looks delicious, but a little too lonely when I walk past.
