Want to dash across the blue US Open courts? The USTA has try-outs this June to become a becoming a ballboy or ballgirl at the US Open. Try-outs are in June for the 2006 US Open.
Anyone 14 or older can try-out. About 75 new ballpersons will be hired this year for a total of 250 at the US Open. If you make the cut, you'll get minimum wage, a shot at a TV appearance, and bragging rights.

The USTA won’t announce try-outs for a bit. Usually they are held in June. Check back here in the spring for more info.
