Crossbay Cruisers Classic Cars in Flushing Meadows

Vintage cars meet vintage moon rockets this June when the Crossbay Cruisers brings their classic cars to the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows. They'll be an open competition on June 11 with over 100 trophies awarded. Bring your classic wheel, or just show up to enjoy the spectacle (and the museum). These guys got style and humor too. I spotted a Pinto on their website in addition to the real classics.

• First Annual Crossbay Cruisers Classic Car Show
• June 11, 2006; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; free for spectators
• Outside the NY Hall of Science 47-01 111th St, Corona, on the western edge of Flushing Meadows Park
• Check in 7-10 a.m. - register on day of show - $20 entry fee for classic cars
• Space for over 300 cars, including vendors, swap meet and cars for sale.
