Modern Art Foundry in Astoria

Joey in Astoria keyed me to the Modern Art Foundry, a family business in Astoria for over 70 years. It's a fine art lost wax casting foundry that works with sculptors. They execute the designs of artists, and also provide maintenance of memorials and create commemorative designs.

You can visit the Modern Art Foundry by appointment (call 718-728-2030), and check out their Alternative Space and Spring Gallery. You could peruse their EBay store, but I get the sense that visiting the actual foundry is a lot more exciting.
