Tony Orlando to Bayside

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of his "Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Ole Oak Tree", singer Tony Orlando performs at Queensborough Community College this Sunday. Joining him --or at least appearing on the same stage -- will be Councilwoman Melinda Katz who the press release says is "also known to have a lovely singing voice." Huh.

Queens is so diverse it's bizarre. This weekend you can see the Queen of Soca on Friday night and then Tony Orlando on Sunday.
