Beastie Boys Movie Premiere and Cookie Puss

The new Beastie Boys concert film Awesome; I ---' Shot That has its New York premiere tomorrow March 28, co-presented by the Museum of the Moving Image at the AMC Loews 34th Street Theater in Manhattan.

Back in Astoria, the Museum will screen the band's music videos, many directed by Adam Yauch, for the next few weeks. Yes, I'm hoping "Sabotage" is on the queue.

Do you actually remember "Cooky Puss," the band's first rap song? But you do remember its inspiration, Cookie Puss, the Carvel ice cream cake? And its Irish cousin Cookie O'Puss? Then you have to love this classic Cookie Puss commercial via Google Video.
