FluxBox at the Flux Factory

Tuesday March 21, 2006
Fluxbox Art collective Flux Factory has some of the most fun events in Queens. They once turned their building into a canvas for paintball paint-by-numbers. Another time they trashed lived in the Queens Museum of Art. Now they're making a huge music box, a sound sculpture of ungainly proportions:
"Think what would happen if Eric Satie spawned a child with Christian Marclay and then Jay-Z adopted it."
  • FluxBox at the Flux Factory
  • March 25 – April 29, 2006; Fri. 3-5 p.m., Sat., Sun. noon-4 p.m.; Sat. evening performances TBA; free
  • Opening Party: March 25, 7-10 p.m.
  • Flux Factory, 38-38 43rd St, Long Island City
