The New Year Comes Early in Queens - Chinese New Year Update

The date of the Chinese Lunar New Year Parade in Flushing, Queens has been changed from Sunday, January 29, to Saturday, January 28, 2006. (The Lunar New Year actually starts January 29.)

In other words, we just can't wait an extra day for the Year of the Dog. And why not? People born in the Year of the Dog are loyal and honest, if a bit set in their ways.

The post-parade festivities have also been changed to Saturday, so please mark your calendars. You don't want to miss the Flushing celebration or the food. Get all the updated Lunar New Year / Chinese New Year / Spring Festival details right here.
