The NY Post and Daily News are all over the arrest of "Kiko," a prolific graffiti artist who has made Astoria his canvas. Councilman Peter Vallone had dubbed Kiko the "most wanted graffiti vandal," all part of his on-going crusade against graffiti. I wonder if Vallone has ever gotten over to 5 Pointz, one of the greatest and welcome graffiti spots in New York. Though it's not a Kiko image, the whale image on Gothamist is pretty cool.
