Junta Hispana at Flushing Meadows

Wednesday September 14, 2005
Junta Hispana is a big celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, and coincides roughly with the Independence Days of Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Flushing Meadows Park will be alive with music and art from 21 Spanish-speaking countries, performing on the main stage and five min-stages.

Organizers expect over 40,000 to attend, maybe even more since the forecast says it's going to be a beautiful day.
