Dominican Festival at Flushing Meadows

Wednesday July 20, 2005
Now that the Mexicans, Colombians, and Peruvians have had their days in the park, it's time for the Dominicans to party. It's for sure the day will be spent with reggaeton booming and plenty of folks kicking it. Organizers expect 50,000 people to attend, not as big as the Colombian Festival, but pretty darn good for the last weekend in July.

Good question. You could ask the Park Department — via 311 — though they usually don’t organize such events. They might know who has the answer.
