Japanese Outlet Store in Flushing

Thursday June 30, 2005
UPDATE - March 2006 - Samurai has closed its doors. Samurai, a relatively new addition to the jumble of Flushing shops across from Macy's on Roosevelt, is the Japanese take on the five-and-dime. The two-floor shop carries everything from lacquer bowls to mascara to kids' toys, but the best finds are the cutesy stationery and colorful purses and tote bags (many under $2). Yes, they have Hello Kitty-chan. "Enjoy your life with Samurai!"

After shopping revive with boba tea and Krispy Kreme at Sago (39-02 Main St), a couple blocks away on Main Street.
