What brilliant weather. Get outside this weekend. Walk down to Astoria's best-known landmark — the Museum of the Moving Image — and celebrate your old pal Gumby. Oh, he's so green! Take this opportunity to perfect your Eddie Murphy impression over dinner at Mundo, preferably with your favorite vegetarian.

Sunday put some air in those tires! Meet me and New York City Parks whiz Emily Maxwell at Gantry State Park in LIC for a bike ride up the waterfront. We'll wash down the sunset at — where else — the beer garden.
