May Day Bicycles

A reminder that this weekend is all about bicycles. May 1 is opening day at the velodrome bike racing track in Kissena Park, and the day of the Five Boro Bike Tour.

If you're more interested in the velodrome, then you have a wonderful excuse to eat at the nearby Dosa Hutt. I recommend a dosa on a way there and the way back. A dosa is a south Indian crepe filled with curried potatoes. I go for the mysore masala dosa, a bit spicier than a masala dosa -- add a thick mango lassi to quench the heat.
