Forest Park Birding

Monday April 4, 2005
Forest Park has the largest continuous woods in Queens, and is prime birding territory. This weekend the Forest Park rangers will lead a birding tour, even providing binoculars, to catch sight of birds returning from their winter migration.

For birding in Queens, don't forget Jamaica Bay, one of the biggest bird sanctuaries in the northeast.
