South Asian Art at the Queens Museum of Art

Tuesday March 15, 2005
The Queens Museum of Art has two paired exhibits, one a group show of contemporary Indian artists, "Edge of Desire" (co-presented with the Asia Society), and the other "Fatal Love," a group show of South Asian American artists

The reach of the Queens Museum of Art keeps getting stronger. To bring working artists from India for this strong group show is another milestone in its renaissance. It is wonderful that the museum next to the Unisphere, and representing the most diverse place in the world, has such a global focus.
