Subway Film Fest in Astoria: Movies About Queens

This week and over the holiday weekend the American Museum of the Moving Image hosts a film festival celebrating the centennial of NYC's subway. Three films highlight Queens subways.
The #7 Train: An Immigrant Journey: Saturday and Sunday, October 9 and 10, 1 p.m.; documentary follows the lives of four immigrant passengers.
The Wrong Man: Saturday, October 9, 2 p.m.; Hitchcock directs Henry Fonda as a musician living in Jackson Heights who's mistaken for a criminal.
Coming to America: Monday, October 11, 2 p.m.; Eddie Murphy shines in multiple roles as an African prince seeking his wife in Queens (at McDowell's on Queens Boulevard).
