Are You Eligible for NYC's $400 Tax Rebate?

Yesterday Mayor Bloomberg announced that the first batch of $400 tax rebate checks were in the mail to New York City homeowners. Owners of houses, condos, co-ops and other properties, which are the owner's primary residence, are eligible for the rebate, but they must apply for NY State's STAR (School Tax Relief) property tax reduction program.
