US Open - Photos and the Finals

Friday September 10, 2004
This weekend the US Open in Flushing Meadows Park wraps up. Today is beautiful and sunny, great for the finals of the Men's Doubles, and the semis for the Women's.

Yesterday morning the weather was still iffy, and, the USTA, to encourage fans to fill the stands, had free admission to the grounds and all matches, except those in Arthur Ashe Stadium. I was lucky enough to get in and see some great tennis from the first row. I snapped these photos of US Open tennis matches in Louis Armstrong Stadium and the Grandstand.
