Louis Armstrong's home in Corona, Queens, has completed a renovation and is set to open to the public on October 15, 2003, with a kick-off block party. The legendary jazz musician "Satchmo" Armstrong and his wife Lucille lived in the house from the early 1940s. Starting October 16, tours of the house will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, and from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
