Glendale, Queens: Neighborhood Profile

The Village Voice has published a good profile of Glendale, Queens, a neighborhood between Ridgewood and Forest Park on the Brooklyn border and known for its cemeteries. Glendale was once a German enclave and is still known for the meat platters -- so traditional you won't finish your food -- served at Zum Stammtisch.
