The Latest on Getting to the Airports

The MTA decided not to extend the N subway line to LaGuardia Airport. The extension would have brought a surge of traffic to the N, much to the dismay of Astoria residents. The AirTrain rail link to JFK, however, continues to progress and should be operational soon. The train will connect all of JFK's terminals to one another and to the Jamaica LIRR train station and the Howard Beach subway station.
