Mondays always scream for coffee -- at least to this caffeine addict. This Monday morning -- and all week -- are a little different if you live in Long Island City.
Sweetleaf cafe (10-93 Jackson Ave) is offering one free cup of Stumptown coffee per day to each customer for the week - 12/7 to 12/13. No catch. Just a great cup. Seriously, skip the milk and sugar.
Sweetleaf's website doesn't mention the deal yet, but they got fans who I'm sure are spreading the word. The tiny cafe is leading the vote for Best of Queens 2009: Drinks.

5 Pointz is a combination legal graffiti spot and outdoor art gallery. It's the biggest place for high quality graffiti art done by permit, and its may be numbered as the building's art studios are going to get shutdown. See it while you can. Here are
photos from last week and the last couple years.
